It's always easier untying a knot, don't you think?

Today, a random thought crossed my mind.

I'd been so caught up with how unfairly you'd treated me, how badly you'd hurt me, how sad you'd made me, how indignant I feel...

You know, I haven't said the nicest things about you. In fact, it would have hurt you, as it would have hurt anyone else if they've had heard it. I'd divulged information that should have been left unsaid, information about you which I should have sworn to secrecy to protect.

And for betraying your trust in me, I am apologetic. Well, it's all over now and I don't think there's more that I should say. I've said more than enough.

My friend, I ask for your understanding and for forgiveness. I could say it wasn't easy for me but I know it's just an excuse. This is it, I wish you well :)
