Growing up.

Setting: UHWC (the clinic in NUS)

Imagine yourself sitting on the big blue couch in a clinic. Clinics always have these dull, blue-coloured couches with gross prints. Anyway, that's besides my point. It feels really weird to have the nurse call out your name (more than thrice) when you're just accompanying someone else to the doctor's. I had the urge to call out, "I'm here" but I'd have gotten a jab for nothing and I don't exactly like getting jabbed.

There's been the usual bouts of influenza/laryngitis which most must have experienced due to the lousy weather. It's scorching hot at one given moment, then it starts to pour deers and pigs at the next. But yesterday, I accompanied a patient to the clinic to have his stitches removed.

He calls this his battle scar. I call it the mark of his manhood. Congratulations, you're a man now :)

On a final note, I'm really excited about tomorrow. We've been working really hard for tomorrow's performance and it's really sad to know that it's all coming to an end. But I know it'll be (in Jeremy's words) a great success. I really thank all these lovely people for making my varsity life so much more interesting than it had been.

ขอบคุณมากค่ะ เพื่อนที่ sibeh น่ารัก :)
