FLUFFY BREAD FOR SALE!
The Chocolate Marble Bread is duh-duh-done! :D
I stole a small slice of it from the edge and I think it tastes pretty good! I was so worried about the incorrect (mixed-up, actually) sequence of addition of liquids, condiments, dry ingredients and the yeast, but thank God it turned out okay. The dough grew and the bread rose when baking. All the sides browned pretty evenly as well and the top wasn't burnt. The only setback is that I am totally bad at twirling. Or maybe I was too ambitious and folded the dough too many times such that the chocolate sheet "tore" and it sorta looks like matcha now. Far, far cry in comparison to Provence's but I will improve on my folding!
Oh well, I'm still gonna give myself a little credit for a pretty good job on my first try! Also, it just struck me to bake a Wholemeal Banana Cake for our X'mas party. Actually, I should say that I was very much inspired by HHB's rendition of it cuz it looks absolutely delectable. Plus, it's fuss free, doesn't require much work especially decoration/icing/etc. and I should be done with it in less than an hour. I'm very tempted to bake a tart as well cos that seems pretty easy too!
I'm like a baking fiend now but I know this won't last for too long. So bear with me, people! At least you get to see nice pictures of foooood and if you're lucky, you'd get to taste some too!
Okay I need to go shower now, KTHXBYE!
