Here are some cartoons I found for today's lesson which I thought were particularly funny but which didn't quite make it past my self-censorship. Since my readers are generally >21, I suppose the pictures/captions won't sound offensive to you.
I was just thinking if "pub" would be too much for the adolescents to handle. After consulting a friend, I decided against showing the cartoon (I wanted to add some humour to the explanation of "white lie"); you never know what these kids tell their parents when they get home, though I thought the last cartoon was really ingenious! Now I'm wondering why there isn't a pub in Singapore (that I know of) named "The Office". Well, you won't be lying to your wife if she called and you said that you were at "The Office". She'd probably wonder why it was so noisy but I don't think she'd probe further :)
Tuesday is almost over and before you know it, Friday will be here! Embrace the week and very soon, the weekends. To all you who're feeling a little under the weather, hang in there and help yourself to some endorphin-releasing chocolates. They almost, always work :)
